Her work has been published, and although you will find many different works of art, her passion is to create impressionistic works of art from photographs provided by her customers. Marilyn Stockwell is very much involved in the arts both as a singer and a painter. She attacks watercolors, mixed media and collage with bold spontaneous energy. Her brush dances across the paper in animated loose impressions, as she strives to catch the spirit of her subject. Her unorthodox zany streak translates into large happy florals, amusing animals and semi-abstract impressionistic studies. She adores animals and paints custom pet portraits with personality.
